Focolare
in Lebanon
The Focolare Movement strives to create a more united world.
Its key words are: unity, dialogue, communion.
It seeks what unites, not what divides. It is a way of life that embraces people of all ages and beliefs. People connected by a common desire to build bridges and create a different, more fraternal world.
Focolare, a name that expresses its identity: home, family warmth. It is a wave of love that spreads.
Word of Life
The Word of Life is a monthly phrase from Scripture, shared worldwide, inviting us to live the Gospel in everyday life. Born during World War II through the experience of Focolare Movement founder Chiara Lubich, it showed that the Gospel is not only to be read, but lived.
Today, the Word of Life continues to inspire people of all ages and cultures to turn the Word into concrete actions and shared experiences.

Spirituality
The rediscovery of God as Love is the first cornerstone of the “spirituality of unity,” also known as the “spirituality of communion.” This spirituality calls, among other things, for the practice of a “mutual and constant charity that makes unity possible and brings about the presence of Jesus within the community” (cf. General Statutes of the Focolare Movement). Its evangelical roots inspire a way of life that contributes to building peace and unity in the world.
Al Madina Al Jadida
An online magazine that contributes to spreading a culture of universal brotherhood. Through its articles, it highlights values and encourages readers to live by them. It shares life experiences that give hope and courage to move forward, reaching families, people involved in public affairs, young people, and others. It is of interest to many people because it offers an open view of today's world. Its pages are rich in dialogue, calling for unity and mutual love, because peace is built through our daily actions and our way of life.
Humanité Nouvelle
Founded in 1988 by a group of the Focolare Movement members, to provide institutional tools to support activities during the civil war. It has been sustained by the work of volunteers to foster fraternity among people, dialogue, and peace. Engaged on various fronts, it has supported all kinds of actions in favour of displaced persons, fostering a culture of unity and closeness to people in need.
